We remember!I was at home, my then 3 year old autistic had just finished her usual Tuesday play therapy with her play therapist, when my mother called me from her work to say a plane had hit the World Trade Centre. I thought it was a joke at firstI turned the news on, just in time to see the second plane hit.I will never forget!
I know. My first class of kids had just settled down to work when the teacher next door to me called me over to her door to see the news. Within 2 minutes the second plane hit. I remember feeling that it wasn't really real.... The rest of the day was surreal. Kids and adults crying. Frantic calls to NYC by staff with relatives there. I felt stunned for days.
We are remembering today too.
we will never forget
You are right. Ir is one of those days we will always remember the where and what we were doing.
I will never forget that day, but didn't even realize how bad it was until I had gotten home from work. This still haunts me and seeing the videos still makes me very emotional. I lived there 12 yrs.,but it doesn't take living there to have it have an extreme impact on you.Linda
Indeed, The Mommy still remember what she was doing. What a weird sad scary day that was.Purrs and hugs,The Kitty Krew
