OMC - I've done it again!!

I saw this beauty online through Pet Finders. I kept going back and looking at her. I thought I've got 5, one more won't make much of a difference - right? I called about her thinking if she's still up for adoption and I can have her, it was meant to be - Right? So she's in my bathroom right now, scared to death and such a tiny girl. The other guys haven't noticed her yet, but once she calms down she should be OK. She was in a laundry room with 10 - 12 other cats and they were all getting along fine. It should work out. There was a Tortie in with her that was returned because he played in the water bowl and made puddles all around. He was so sweet, I was tempted.

Question - She is due for her vaccines and I have them to give to her. Should I do it now while she is still scared and get all the scary stuff over in one day or wait till she's more comfortable?

Oh, I think I'm going to name her Jeannie. You youngsters won't remember this, but there was a T V show way back called "I Dream of Jeannie" and I immediately thought her eyes looked like Jeannie in the show.

Oh...Gorgeous! That is very sad when cats are returned for normal cat behavior like playing with water. Adopters should be willing to properly deal with behavior, normal or not. Anyway, congratulations on the new addition.

Yay!! A beautiful lady cat, and now she has a home. Things may have been hard for her up to now, but she is going to have it made from now on.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family. You're right to isolate her from the others for a few days until she settles down. You'll probably spend a lot of time in the "nursery" with her, and that's good too. Lots of unconditional love -- she's probably not used to it, but most cats learn quickly that it's pretty nice and it's accompanied by skritches, tummy rubs and treats.

She deserves good things, and now she will have them. Please keep us posted on how she is doing! (And when she tells you her real name...)

Beautiful cat! Congratulations!

If you get tired of her, put her on a plane to Acnhorage and I will drive to town and then bring her here to Wasilla, where she will have a very good life.

I JOKES! I JOKES! PUT THE PITCVHFORK AWAY!

Congratulations on your new addition. She's a cutie.

We can't believe someone would return a kitty for playing with water. Each cat is an individual!

She looks so cute. Our humans are considering one or two more of us, but they're not quite sure.

Oh my, we can't believe you got a new addition! She is just beautiful! Very, very, very much so! Hopefully there will be many pictures of her...
We would wait with the vaccines and not aument her stress. Maybe it would even be a good idea to get someone else you trust to poke her, so she doesn't associate you with the poking.
All the best!
