Neighbor Kid

A young boy (9ish) knocked on our door, and when Mom answered the boy held out a photo of a beautiful white cat with tan and black markings. "Have you seen my cat?" he said. And Mom's heart dropped to the floor. She's still worried about Tigger getting home, this just hit her real hard. Mom told him to look very, very hard in the bushes cause in her experience inside cats don't go too far when they escape. The boy nodded his head and went back towards his home. (3 houses away). Mom went to get some shoes on so she could go help him look. Just as she was heading to the door, there was another knock. The boy was there with the biggest grin on his face. He found his cat in the bushes next to their fence. Phew. Then the boy said the nicest thing. "If you ever want anything, you can come ask for me." *sniff* Mom told him he was a very nice young man and she thought he would grow up to be a very caring person because he already knew how to love and worry about his cat. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a world of little boys like him?

Ok, I am a total sappy person - that story made me cry - because I am happy he found his cat, because he was such a caring boy, and because it made me think about Mr Tigger and worry. But I am very happy that this little boy found his cat and that he is such a good little guy.

Oh, that's so great that the kitty was found safe so close to home. We're very happy. And what a great little boy, to come let you know and offer his help for anything you need.

We hope Mr. Tigger will come home really soon too.

Purrs and hugs,
