from Cesar --- National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day

National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day takes place this month on May 8. The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Citizen Corps declared this day as a means to raise awareness about the importance of planning for pets' safety before disaster strikes.

Remember, preparation is the best way to protect you and your pets dogs and CATS. But, in the face of a disaster, be patient and consistent and stay calm and assertive!

Thanks for sharing. You better remind me the day before because my mom has been kind of forgetful lately.

It's on our mewmies to do list to make files for each of us with all our info and pictures and who she wants to take care of us if something happens to her.

We need for her to make that disaster kit, too!
