Jeannie's V E T visit

Well. I'm completely and utterly humiliated. She took me to the v e t because I would not let her pick off my dingleberries. She snatched me by my scruff while I was eating Party Mix. I was so shocked I froze. Then she stuck me in the PTU. I haven't been in that since the day she brought me home. I yelled at her all the way in the car. It was the longest time in my life for me. (5 min.). When she was talking about me to the Lady Vet, she said all kinds of mean things about me. She told the her that I was a biter, and scratcher, and wild. She said I would probably need to be sedated. Well I sure made a lier out of her.The lady vet took me into the back (They had to shave my dingleberries off. (Blush) They stuck me 3 times, too. Something about being overdue on my vaccines. Mom's fault. When the lady Vet brought me back to Mom, she said I was a perfect little patient. No growling and not even a hiss. So there, Mom.

You had your butt shaved? Be very careful, mum's have been known to take photos to make us even more humiliated. Keep your claws good and sharp just in case.

Well, if you did have to go to the v*t, at least you bore the injustice and the indignity well. Cheers for being brave in a difficult situation.

VERY well done, Jeannie. We hope your mom won't take pictures of your shaved behind.

Mom to mom comunication:
Do you remember the snuggles site I commented about the other day? I'm currently learning how to crochet (big blush here for not knowing) and I would love to do the "Crochet Snuggle Tubbie" for Chilli who loves to burrow. There's a manual to it at the site but I don't understand the abbreviations at all. Could you do me a huge favour and have a look at the manual (http://www.snugglesproject.org/content/view/31/31/) and translate it into "normal words" for me? It doesn't have to be this "crab stitch" either, it'll do with a plain stitch. You can leave me a comment or mail me at "b dot eschmann at arcor dot de".
Hugs, Britta

Dingleberries are no fun for anybuddy, Jeannie! We iz sorry you had to be shaved. We are also very good at the Vet. We think the badder you behave, the more shots you get. So we are very, very good.

Jeannie, that is quite and ordeal you went through - the rough handling, the loss of some of the party mix (I am sure you weren't done yet), the PTU, the harsh words. And then to be SHAVED. Oh, the humanity (wait, kittymanity?)

It's never fun to go to the vet, but it sounds like you were a good girl, Jeannie!

My Grump old man Boo Bear was like that... Get all mad at me, and all nice to the vet.

Katie Too is the same way... Scratch the heck out of me and act all scaredy cat nice for the vets! I think she's afraid she's been bad and I'm going to leave her there!

Glad u gotted ur shots and was a good gurl about it!

Katie Tooz Mom.
